INSURANCE

It is compulsory for all groupies to have travel insurance whilst traveling with Wanderlands Fiji. Traveling is all about adventure and experiencing the unknown. Unfortunately, this can mean that some things don’t always go to plan from time to time. Whilst you are in the safe hands of your group leader from the moment you walk through arrivals to the end of the tour, planes can sometimes be delayed, luggage can go missing and accidents can happen.

Your group leader will check your documents at the beginning of the tour to ensure you are correctly covered and you can travel with peace of mind. It is important your travel insurance covers you for the following:

  • Medical expenses
  • Missed flights
  • Luggage loss and theft

All activities included in the tour and anything you plan on doing during your stay in Fiji – snorkeling, scuba dive, surfing, etc. If you haven’t got your insurance arranged yet, simply get in touch with us and we can help you arrange it. Please feel free to call us on (+62) 361 9080 482 or email: info@wanderlands.travel.

Travel is all about adventure and the unknown, but that doesn’t mean you should be too risky. It is imperative that all Wanderlands Groupies are covered by travel insurance and because we have been doing this for a while, and know exactly the type of cover you will need, we recommend booking yours through World Nomads.
https://www.worldnomads.com/

What are the room allocations?

We will be staying in mixed shared dormitories for the duration of the trip. There are options at some locations to obtain a private room but these are very expensive and sell out quick so we cannot guarantee.

Is there Wi-Fi available in our hotels?

Wi-Fi is very limited within Fiji and some of the resorts have times during the day where it will be turned on for you to get in contact with your family and friends. This is often a good thing as it really lets you get away from the hustle of modern life and you can enjoy paradise that much more. If you really need to stay connected then you can obtain a sim card from the airport with mobile data.

What kind of accommodation do we stay in?

We stay in hostels and hotels, they all have air conditioning, swimming pools and are clean, comfortable and tidy.
  • Oasis Palms Hotel – 12 bedroom mixed dorm 1 day
  • Beachouse – 6 bedroom mixed dorm (breakfast and dinner included) 2 days
  • Blue Lagoon Beach Resort – 8 bedroom mixed dorm (mandatory meal plan for $119FJD per day for breakfast, lunch and dinner) 2 days

What time should I book my flight?

You don’t usually arrive back in Nadi before 6-7pm depending on the weather and sometimes boats can be delayed. To avoid any extra stress, we recommend you to book a flight after 10pm on the last day.

If you require extra nights of accommodation after the tour we can arrange this for you in Nadi.

Your Wanderlands Fiji group leader can help you book this.

Airport pick up can be arranged free of charge on day 1 of your tour or if you arrive earlier and have booked your pre night(s) accommodation at our first hotel. Please contact our office team if you’d like us to organise that for you.

Free pick up will be available only during 7am-10pm. Outside these hours, the transfer will be at your own charge.
This will cost 20FJD per shuttle (4 people max per shuttle). So, the total cost per person will depend on how many passengers there are per shuttle.
