Canggu
Selamat Datang di Bali! – welcome to Bali in Indonesian!
Today you will be picked up from Denpasar airport by one of our drivers, who will meet you in arrivals and escort you to our hotel in Canggu.
Here you will meet your group leader (the superstar who will accompany you throughout your Wanderlands tour!) who will make sure you are all settled in and give you all the insider Bali tips you could ever need! The rest of the day is yours: fancy relaxing by the pool? How about chilling at the beach? Maybe venturing out and exploring Canggu might tickle your fancy? The choice is all yours.
Tonight we will get together as a group at our welcome dinner, and get acquainted over delicious food and drinks before the adventure really kicks off tomorrow morning…
Canggu / Kuta
Selamat Pagi! – Good morning!
After meeting your group leader, your fellow travellers (and soon to be best friends!) and a good night’s sleep, it is time to dive into the magical Balinese culture.
Today starts with a visit to Tanah Lot temple, a majestic site built on beautiful rock formations in the sea.
After exploring this marvel we will head to Kuta Social Club for a rooftop lunch with epic views of the surf below.
Then it is time to channel our inner surfer and catch some waves! Our experienced – and awesome – instructors will have you standing up in no time.
Next up: sunset! Grab a cold drink and enjoy the first of many epic Indonesian sunsets.
And finally: did someone say it’s time to party? Today ends with the chance to sample the famous Canggu nightlife scene. Let’s go!
Nusa Lembongan
Next stop – paradise! – also known as Nusa Lembongan, the first of many islands awaiting our footprints.
After checking in to our idyllic beachfront accommodation it is time to explore Dream Beach. The clue is in the name: it really is that dreamy!
Then let’s relax and work on our tans before walking to Devil’s Tears, an epic tide pool where we will watch the sunset as the waves crash over the rocky coves below.
After freshening up at the hotel we will dine on the beach (yes, feet in the sand style!), with the stars in the night sky for company.
The warm glow of a beach bonfire ends our day together, the perfect setting to share stories and bask in the magic of the moment.
Nusa Penida
Get ready: we are off to Nusa Penida!
Today we will explore the pristine waters of Nusa Penida as we don our masks and flippers and go snorkeling.
As an underwater bonus, (weather permitting) we will also visit the famous Manta Point to snorkel with the majestic Manta Rays!
Once back on land we will head to Cactus Beach Club for lunch before visiting a truly special and unique temple: Pura Goa Giri Putri. After squeezing through the secret entrance, prepare to be amazed at the network of underground temples hidden within the caves.
Then it is time to hit the beach! We will chill out at Diamond Beach, where as an added bonus we can enjoy the view of its neighbour Atuh Beach. Our hat-trick finishes at Kelingking Beach.
Pro tip: make sure you charge your phone this morning and bring your power bank with you – today is a sure day to capture lots of beautiful memories!
Ubud
Today we will head back to Bali to experience the cultural heart that is Ubud.
Remember the iconic movie ‘Eat Pray Love’? Ubud is where the ‘Love’ chapter is set – and we know you are going to love your time here!
Once we arrive you will have free time to settle into and enjoy our beautiful accommodation before getting to know the local residents…the monkeys!
Meander through the Sacred Monkey Forest and marvel at the ancient temples within as we get up close and personal with the (very cheeky) monkeys.
Feeling brave? You can even try and grab a selfie with them!
Tonight we will enjoy a group dinner and take in the energy of Ubud, the heart of Bali. If visiting some bars and listening to live music is up your street, take a stroll down Jalan Monkey Forest where you will be spoilt for choice.
Ubud
This morning we are kicking things off with a caffeine boost at a local coffee plantation. Sample some of Bali’s best teas and coffees and learn all about the most expensive coffee in the world (yes, it’s from Bali!).
Prepare to be surprised: this is not your average coffee…
Then: Lights. Camera. Swing!
Welcome to the home of the famous Bali Swings, nestled amongst picture-perfect rice terraces.
We will wander through the emerald green rice fields and enjoy lunch with a view, before spending the afternoon soaking in the scenery from beautiful infinity pools that overlook the terraces.
After freshening up at our accommodation we will meet for a group dinner, before a good night’s sleep. It is a ‘school night’ after all…
Ubud
Pack your books and pens; we’re going back to school! We’ll visit a local primary school for the unique opportunity to spend time with the students. There we can play and let them practise their English. Then we’ll cool off with a quick dip in one of Bali’s most famous waterfalls followed by one of our hidden gems. Afterwards, explore the streets and your wallets at the local markets. You’re guaranteed to pick up some presents for friends, family or even just a treat for yourself. Sadly, it may be the last evening for some so we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner and celebrate the best trip of your life!
Gili Trawangan
Let’s go island hopping!
Today we will travel by boat to Gili Trawangan, a tiny island off the North West coast of Lombok.
Enjoy the opportunity to slow down and enjoy the peace and quiet. There are no cars or scooters on the Gili Islands, making the sound of the ocean the perfect backdrop for maximum chilling.
Then: saddle up! We will ride our bikes along the coast to the best sunset spot on the island, where we can watch the magical hues of sunset pepper the sky.
After sunset we will visit the famous Night Market, where its traditional fare (including freshly caught fish – yum!) – awaits us.
Gili Trawangan
Are you ready to get wet?!
Today we will explore some of the best snorkelling spots in Indonesia!
Jump straight off the boat into the clear waters that surround Gili Trawangan and get ready to explore – underwater style!
Underwater statues, beautiful coral reefs and magical turtles all await you…
Feeling adventurous? We can help arrange a certified PADI open water course and qualification for you to complete during your time in Gili Trawangan. Now that’s a souvenir to take home!
In the spirit of island hopping we will pop to our next-door neighbour Gili Meno for a spot of lunch, after which we will visit the local baby turtle sanctuary!
Back on Gili T, the night will begin with dinner at an Irish Pub (fun fact: Gili T is the smallest island in the world with an Irish Pub!) followed by the iconic Gili Trawangan bar crawl. Are you ready?
Gili Trawangan
There is no need to set your alarm this morning – the time is yours!
Take in the island vibes and chill by the pool, hit the beach and work on your tan, or kick back and enjoy catching up on your beauty sleep. Now that’s what we’re talking about!
But don’t get too relaxed…because at dinnertime we will be learning to cook local delicacies at our exclusive cooking class!
With expert guidance from start to finish we will learn to create traditional sweet and savoury dishes. And the best bit? We will be eating everything we make after the class, family-style.
With full bellies and even fuller hearts, we will rally together and check out what’s happening in Gili T tonight.
Kuta Lombok
All aboard!
This morning we will take a short boat ride to Lombok and drive south to Kuta. The vibes in Kuta are super laidback – which may be a welcome change after the party lifestyle of Gili T!
Over the next few days it is time to relax and recharge, enjoy our epic accommodation, and maybe discover some hidden secrets of Lombok…
The beautiful Benang Stokel Waterfall and Benang Kelambu Waterfall are calling our names today, so bring your swimmers and camera gear and get ready to get wet! We will stop for lunch at a warung at the waterfall too, a perfect opportunity to sample local Lombok cuisine.
After drying off and freshening up at our gorgeous accommodation we will get together and have dinner in Kuta. After dinner, Kuta is waiting to be explored…
Lombok
After this truly unique experience we will visit Selong Belanak Beach, where we can enjoy each other’s company – and the magic of Lombok – on our last full day together. As an added bonus, water buffalo are herded along Selong Belanak Beach, so have your cameras to hand to capture this marvel!
Once back in Kuta we will get together for our last dinner as a group. Bring your tissues, things are about to get emotional…
Lombok
Let us come together and reflect on the magical times we have shared as we enjoy our last breakfast as a group. The trip may be over, but we know that the memories you made will last a lifetime.

Flights before and after the tour are not included in the tour price and you need to arrange these separately by yourself once your tour is confirmed. As we specialise in organising the best tours around the world for you, we are unable to advise on flight prices or book flights on your behalf.
There are 6 optional excursions available on this tour:

Please be advised that this is a guideline only and that prices are subject to change.
We can never give you an exact spending money figure as everybody spends differently! All your accommodation, activities and transport (minus the ferry and shuttle back to the airport on last day) during your 13 days with Wanderlands Travel in Bali and Lombok are paid for so you will just need money for food, drinks and some shopping.
Meals are roughly IDR 50.000 - 100.000, drinks are roughly IDR 20.000 - 80.000 and your transport back to the airport after the tour will be roughly IDR 300.000 - 500.000.
Tipping is not compulsory in Bali and Lombok and most restaurants include a service charge in the final bill, so any tip on top of this is at your own discretion.
