Manila
Welcome to the Philippines!
Today you will be picked up from Manila airport by your group leader (the superstar who will accompany you throughout your Wanderlands tour!) and taken to our hostel.
Today is all about relaxing and unwinding after your travels to the Philippines, and settling into our accommodation located in the heart of Manila’s bustling Makati district. If you arrive early you can explore the local markets and sites, or make the most of our hostel’s rooftop restaurant and bar!
Tonight we will gather for a quick orientation talk and head out as a group for a welcome dinner and drinks. The perfect chance to get to know your tour group, and perhaps your next best friend!
Cebú
We have an early start this morning to catch our flight to Cebú, where on arrival we will head to the beachside town of Moalboal.
Our accommodation in Moalboal is a relaxed waterfront hotel, located just a couple of minutes walk from the famous Sardine Run beach (start getting excited – we will be experiencing this epic marvel ourselves in a couple of days!)
Once checked in we have time to rest, freshen up, and begin exploring the local area, before a beautiful sunset dinner.
Island vibes: activated!
Cebú
This morning we will kick things off with a truly unique and unforgettable experience: swimming with whale sharks!
Bring your underwater camera and GoPro – you will not want to miss the chance to immortalise your underwater time spent with these gentle giants!
After we dry off we will head deep into the hills of Cebú to visit one of the Philippines most beautiful waterfalls: Tumalog Falls.
Cool down in the crystal clear azure waters of this natural spring, and enjoy splashing around in the stunning lagoons that make up Tumalog Falls.
Back in Moalboal we will rest and refresh in our rooms before gathering for a group dinner, where we can recount the magical memories from the unforgettable day we just spent together.
Cebú
This morning is all about relaxing, catching up on sleep, and enjoying the laidback vibes our accommodation provides.
Then get ready for something rather special…
At 10am we will don our snorkels and flippers and walk out into the sea, where we will experience the iconic Sardine Run!
Prepare to swim with thousands upon thousands of sardines. Truly a ‘see it to believe it’ sight, this marvel will definitely take your breath away.
We will wrap up another epic day spent together with dinner and drinks. Can you believe this is only day four of our tour?!
Port Barton
Today is a travel day, where we say goodbye to Cebú and make our way to Palawan, and island voted one of the best in the world!
We will board our bus after an early breakfast and make our way back to Cebú City’s airport. Then: all aboard the last flight of the tour!
On arrival in Palawan we will travel by private bus to Port Barton, a beautiful fishing village
As soon as we land we will travel by private bus to the beautiful fishing village of Port Barton, where our hotel – a welcoming paradise featuring a waterfront location, an infinity pool and sunset views – awaits us.
Speaking of sunset, that is exactly what we will do tonight. Dinner and drinks as we watch the sunset over the calm waters of the South China Sea.

Port Barton
After breakfast we will board on our very own local sailing boat and set sail around the beautiful island of Port Barton, Palawan.
During our voyage we will make pit-stops at hidden (and beautiful!) beaches, indulge in an authentic homemade Filipino lunch prepared by our incredible local boat crew, and snorkel in the never-ending blue quartz waters.
Back on dry land, it’s time for dinner – and to party, island style!
Port Barton
Our last day spent in Port Barton is all about chilling – and having fun – in nature.
Bring your walking shoes to breakfast, because after we have all fuelled-up for the day ahead we will drive to San Vicente and explore its pristine, untouched jungle.
Next up is Pamuayan Waterfall, perfect for a refreshing plunge after our jungle trek!
Finally it is time to hit the beach. Grab a cold drink, bask in the rays of the Filipino sun, and play some beach games with your Wanderlands buddies.
Once back at our accommodation we have time to freshen up and get ready for dinner and drinks with our group. Life is good on a Wanderlands tour, right!
El Nido
After our last breakfast in Port Barton we will embark on a three hour drive to El Nido and check into our boutique accommodation (pro tip: it has a 360 degree rooftop infinity pool – perfect for sunset!).
El Nido is a combination of clear waters and a stunning beach surrounded by wild jungle, all framed by steep limestone cliffs. Prepare to be blown away by the natural beauty that awaits us.
After a spot of lunch we will head to Las Cabanas Beach, where we will chill to our hearts’ content. And for the adrenalin junkies amongst us there is the option to participate in zip-lining, where you will fly head first towards the beach!
Today will be perfectly rounded off with a group dinner and drinks – cheers!
El Nido
Did someone say island hopping?
The Philippines are famous for their idyllic islands, so today we will board our boat and go see some of them!
Get ready to jump off the boat and snorkel, stop at some truly breathtaking beaches, and take part in optional kayaking. Lunch will be enjoyed on one of our (many) island pit stops.
And have you heard of the ‘small and big lagoons’? Often called some of the most picturesque places on the planet, we will hit these up too.
Back at our accommodation we can rest and freshen up, before meeting for dinner and sharing stories of the unbelievable experiences and sights we all shared today.
El Nido
Are you ready to learn how to cook – Filipino style?
After a chilled morning consisting of breakfast and enjoying our incredible accommodation’s facilities (if you haven’t tried out the 360 degree rooftop infinity pool yet, now is your time!) we will take a group cooking class.
Learn how to prepare Filipino delicacies – and then enjoy devouring them after with your Wanderlands travel pals.
After lunch we will return to the hotel where the chilling continues, before we gather for an extra-special sunset dinner at Lio Beach.
Enjoy good times with good people, delicious food and drinks with a magical sunset as the backdrop. Perfection!
El Nido
This morning we will enjoy a late breakfast at 11am before…hitting the beach!
This is not just any beach: we will make our way to Nacpan Beach, a postcard-worthy white sand beach that will make you feel like you are living in a dream.
Except this is not a dream: this is real life on a Wanderlands tour!
Spend your time here as you like. Do you have a book in your bag you are desperate to finish? Fancy topping up your tan and savouring the feeling on the sun on your skin? Want to splash around in the calm, crystal clear water? The decision is all yours.
Tonight we will gather for our farewell dinner – these can get emotional, so bring some tissues! We will raise a glass to the journey we have all shared, the new friendships we have formed, and the memories we have made that will last a lifetime.

At Wanderlands Travel we include a lot of amazing activities in our itineraries - the only optional excursion for this tour is:
El Nido zipline price approx. 500 php.
Please be advised that this is a guideline only and that prices are subject to change.
Your tour guide will also give you recommendations on what you can do when you have free time throughout the tour.
The tour will start in Lub D Hotel Manila. You can arrive at any time on day 1 and check-in at 2 PM as it is arrivals day with no activities planned.
There is an optional (but highly recommended!) group welcome dinner planned at approximately 7pm if you would like to join, where you can meet your tour guide and fellow travellers.
(Please be aware that the meeting hotel is subject to change until your final documents are released.)
The final day of this tour is a departure day with no planned activities, so you can leave at any time from Cuna Hotel in El Nido.
Your Group Leader will be on hand to help you with any onwards travel you have planned.
